Six principles. No exceptions.

HOW WE OPERATE

  1. We underwrite first. Every decision starts with the downside. If the math only works in the optimistic case, we pass.

  2. We hold long. We are not in the business of flipping assets or relationships. Short time horizons create bad incentives.

  3. We avoid complexity we didn't create. If the problem existed before us, we price it in or walk. We don't acquire turnarounds and call them opportunities.

  4. We tell you what we won't do. A short list of hard nos is more useful than a long list of maybes. Sellers and clients deserve clarity up front.

  5. We run lean. Overhead is a drag on returns. We keep the structure simple and the decisions close to the operator.

  6. We move when we're ready. Speed is a tactic. Discipline is the strategy. We don't rush to close and we don't drag out decisions.

Most brands don't have a retail problem. They have a readiness problem.

Her background in merchandising and licensing gives DV a lens most channel consultants don't have: what the buyer is actually thinking when your pitch walks in the door.
